Tagaytay is a perennial favorite for urbanites seeking an escape from the lowlands and its exhausting bedlam. For a weekend getaway, it’s a very convenient drive or commute less than three hours away, with the travelers getting more leisure options to last their stay: climbing the famous Taal Volcano, eating bulalo or mushroom burger, riding horses around the park, shopping for fresh fruits and veggies, and basically enjoying mountain weather and scenes that are guaranteed to de-stress. A whole day just won’t do, so we recommend an overnight stay in this hotel.

It was one fine February afternoon when I and a friend revisited Tagaytay. This time, the air was less cool, but the skies where still clear, the sun was still at its brightest.

The whole town still exuded that distinct calmness and relaxing vibe, one that exactly complements the need for a get-away against the hustle and bustle of the city.

We stayed at One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites which is conveniently situated near the popularly visited People’s Park in the Sky and Picnic Grove, as well as where one can get a clear and breathtaking view of the Taal Lake and Volcano.

One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites is raised 10 storeys high and is complete with amenities and services which one can avail. It has deluxe guestrooms and suites, rooms for physically challenged individuals, a fitness center, adult and kiddie swimming pools, a viewing deck, and comprehensive spa services.

Apart from leisure, it is also the preferred businessman’s haven for out-of-town conferences, meetings, and events. It has the Aurora Grand Ballroom and five conference and meeting rooms. It also houses the Verve Gallery, a venue and space for visual artists to collaborate and exhibit new and exciting works.

One Tagaytay Place Hotel Suites provides the perfect ambience, both for the relaxing guest and for professionals looking for the perfect venue to hold meetings, work appointments, or other business matters.
